The Shape of Infrastructure

MEDIA | URBAN SYSTEMS | COMPARATIVE URBAN MORPHOLOGIES | REPRESENTATION | COMPUTATION

Module 1: Intensifying Infrastructure introduces students to infrastructure as the interaction of form, experience, and system across space and time. Using Grasshopper, students re-code urban sections to explore how social, ecological, and technological systems can generate new design contexts. This form-finding exercise strengthens digital, representational, and spatial thinking at the start of the design process.
